The Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting will be held at AICC headquarters on May 9 in Delhi. The meeting precedes the “Chintan Shivir” to define the future strategy of the party.

At the last CWC meeting, it was decided by the party to call a “Chintan Shivir” to formulate a course-correcting strategy to reverse the trend of electoral defeats after the party’s disastrous performance in recent polls. of the Assembly in five states.

The party is now in power only in two states of Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh and is part of the ruling coalition in Maharashtra and Jharkhand.

Several meetings have already taken place for the preparation of Chintan Shivir.
