Abia PDP Working Committee Suspends Secretary of State for Commenting on Delegate Election
The State Working Committee of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Abia State Chapter, on Tuesday suspended its publicity secretary, Barr. David Iroh.
Inside information alleged that Iroh was suspended for the interview he gave that the election of the 3 Abia PDP delegates was not held in the state as was rumored in some quarters close to Government House that the election had taken place.
According to the source, the suspension followed instructions from Government House for standing on the path of truth regarding the unsuccessful conduct of the 3-man ad hoc delegate election in Abia State and daring to s express and set the record straight.
The Secretary of State had revealed this weekend the true situation, stating that the election of the ad hoc delegates of 3 men had taken place in Abia.
The report said the expanded state executive meeting included local government chairs.
