The statement, signed by Wangtina Naga, President, NSCN(R); Akatao Chophi, Vice President, NSCN(R) and P Tikhak, Kilonser, NSCN(R) said: “It is also regrettable that a minor internal issue within the party has been blown out of proportion and also exposed in the public domain. ”

The organization clarified that the internal problem had been resolved amicably.

“However, through the timely intervention of N. Kitovi Zhimomi, Organizer, WC, NNPG and other NNPG leaders, the misunderstanding was amicably resolved and brought to an end keeping in mind the Nagas’ interest in together and the inevitable political solution,” the statement read.

“Henceforth, the three principal leaders of the NSCN(R) must once again work together cohesively by duly consulting each other and continue to strengthen the NNPG until our end goal is achieved,” the statement issued by the media cell reads. said the NNPG working committee.

“It has also been observed that certain elements with ulterior motives have incited the collective leaders for vested interests, such elements are warned to immediately refrain from further harmful and divisive activities,” added.
