After arriving in Apex Legends Season 12, Mad Maggie took third place when it comes to most used characters in the game, trailing Octane and Wraith.

The arrival of Apex Legends Season 12: Defiance has allowed longtime fans of Respawn’s battle royale to finally get their hands on Mad Maggie as a playable legend.

Hailing from Salvo, the Rebel Warlord has already shaken up the meta quite a bit, as his speed boost abilities have both made shotguns a staple in matches and kept enemy players on their toes once she got involved.

Like many new legends before her, Mad Maggie has become a familiar face in many matches, however, she hasn’t become the most popular pick as there are still two legends used more than her.

Mad Maggie has finally arrived in Apex Legends.

The statistics, which come from Apex Legends Statusrevealed that Maggie has become the third most used Legend in Apex currently, with a usage rate of almost 10%.

She is slightly behind Wraith, who is in second place with nearly 11% usage, but they both pale in comparison to Octane who has 15% usage in matches and n stopped increasing.

While ranked tiers for the new season continue to shake, Maggie is currently played mostly in silver tier two – which puts her on par with Pathfinder, Valkyrie, Gibraltar, and Crypto. Again, in this metric, she is still behind Octane, with Bloodhound, Lifeline, and even Fuse playing at a higher level.

Maggie has become the third most used Legend in Apex, but will that last?

Naturally, as players tire of Maggie’s novelty, her pick rate will likely drop somewhat as she settles into a truer position within the battle royale meta.

Obviously, if she drops too much, it could be that Respawn will go back to the drawing board and give her some more love, but that remains to be seen at this early stage.
