Pokemon Go Tour: Johto provides players with an experience that only comes around a few times a year for the game. Many Pokémon appear at an accelerated rate during the event, and every Pokémon that originated in Johto can be obtained as Shiny during the event.

Players will finally have the chance to complete their Shiny Pokédex for the Johto region, as the event adds 10 previously unobtainable Shiny versions of Johtoan Pokémon. In a blog post published by Niantic, all Pokémon originally discovered in the Johto region can appear shiny.

Every Pokémon a player encounters during the event that comes from the Johto region may be Shiny, but not every Pokémon in the region will have their spawn rates increased. Here are all of the Pokemon that will have boosted spawn rates, and can therefore be more easily found Shiny, separated by which version players choose.

In addition to spawns, players will also have the option to grab a Shiny Gyarados during the event with an event-exclusive Special Research called Masterwork Research.

The rotating habitats will change every hour and each habitat will appear twice during the day. Then, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., all Pokémon from all habitats will appear, giving players a chance to grab the ones they missed.

For those who don’t purchase a ticket, only some of the Pokémon that appear in the Johto region will be available during the event. Heracross and Corsola, which are both regional and only appear in certain regions of the world, will appear in raids whether or not a ticket is held, and rotating habitats will always be present. Finding Shiny Pokémon without a ticket will be more difficult, but not impossible.

The event takes place on February 26 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. local time, wherever players are located in the world. Those wishing to purchase a ticket can do so through the app for $11.99.
